WAX N' WHISKEY
PARKING INFO
There is limited parking in-front of and directly next to hotel and we recommend parking at the Peaks to Plains lot located north of 6th Ave. We will be running a FREE shuttle service from 6-10pm: The shuttle will drop off event attendees to the front door of The Eddy and run until 10pm with free rides back to the parking lot pickup location. Shuttle services provided by Legend Liner Party Bus & Limo.
There is a paved walkway as well and it is approximately a 10 minute walk.
This year, we are bringing you a LOADED line up of experiences and fun things to do at the event. We are adding several new vendors and have many familiar faces back that from the two past Wax N' Whiskey events. A few things worth mentioning:
SPECIAL ROOM RATES
Spend the night! Take advantage of the beautiful Eddy Hotel and book a room for the evening. We will be providing morning yoga (more info below) on Friday morning to get your day started off right!
SKI WAXING
Our good friends at Denver Sports Lab will be providing (had spelling error on providing) FREE ski waxes with Purl Wax for those in attendance. Bring your skis or snowboard, get in line (we recommend getting there early!) and get your sticks ready for the season.
We will also be providing an optional drop off option if you would like to drop your skis off the week before the event --> SIGN UP HERE. Denver Sports Lab will handle all the logistics - just drop 'em off and we will have them ready Thursday night for you!
WHISKEY TASTING WITH BEAR CREEK DISTILLERY
Come taste the fine spirits that Bear Creek Distillery has to offer! Bear Creek will be popping up with a lounge and tasting bar on the 4th level East Balcony Rooftop -- come taste to see what you like, then head downstairs and order a cocktail at the bar! We are expanding their experience this year by also incorporating Bear Creek Spirits into our food menu for the evening (stay tuned!)
BEER TASTING WITH OUTER RANGE BREWING COMPANY
We are excited to have our good friends from Outer Range activating the 4th level West Side Balcony Rooftop with a tasting station, allowing you to experience their great offerings! After hanging with their team and shaking a leg to their in-house DJ, head downstairs to fill a glass at the bar!
MUSIC
We will be cranking tunes all night, and will have a live music act on the lawn from 9:45-10:45!
BRINGING THE KIDDOS?
The more, the merrier! All ages are allowed at this event. We will have hot cocoa and marshmallows at the ready, T-Shirt printing, and more.
RAFFLE
Like previous years, we will be hosting a MASSIVE raffle! Raffle will be at 9pm sharp and you must be present to redeem your prize! Tickets will be $5 for 1 ticket or 10 for 3 tickets and you can buy them at the Icelantic table at the event. Prizes include: A free pair of skis from Icelantic, gear from Rab, WhatVest, Purl Wax, and much much more.
T SHIRT PRINTING
Our good friends at Superior Ink will be rolling in their entire T-Shirt press and have blank tees ready for you to screenprint on your own! Choose your colors and bring home a souvenir from this year's event. Kid friendly!
SKI DISPLAY
