Storm Pummels The West - Chasing Pow To Steamboat - Photo Update

A huge storm struck the west this week. Mountains and cities from the Northwest down through the central Rockies are getting pummeled with snow. So what did we do in this situation?.. We made an early morning departure from Evergreen, CO to chase down the white stuff in none other than Steamboat. We found even more snow and less tracks than expected and are still thawing the ice from around our shit eating smiles.

Check out the photos from the past few days! We've been here for 3 days and it has snowed a foot every day on top of two feet that fell previously. Is this El Nino??

Checking in From Chile - Alex Taran

Pic #1 - It's not often you're finishing your run and wishing you jumped in the back of a van to drink with friends. Either way I'm pretty lucky to have views like this is my daily life.

Pic #2 - Sometimes the clouds part and you get serene powder turns.... This wasn't today, it's cloudy and the lower lifts are open... But I'm going to go ski more laps on the bobsled in the trees, act like a 7 year old, and enjoy the hell out of it... Peace!

Nick Martini Checks In From Sheregesh, Russia

Sheregesh, Russia... After two weeks of straight travel we arrive in Sheregesh, Russia where it has snowed four feet over the past week. By morning, an additional six inches of snow had fallen and the sunrise marked my twenty-fifth birthday. A small Asian man in a taxi van picked us up at our “hotel”. His gold covered teeth were complimented by his high-energy personality. He screams “America!!” at the top of his lungs a dozen times as we pack our nine pairs of skis into the small vehicle. The single lane road leading to the mountain is grid locked...
