Josh Stack learned to ski at Silver Star Mountain in Vernon B.C. Josh's parents bought him some small plastic skis to play outside now he is skiing huge faces dropping into anything ski worthy. Josh rides The Gypsy when he skis the pow pow, The Gypsy SKNY for resort riding/park riding, and The Nomad RKR for great all mountain skiing! Josh moved to Whistler from Vernon in 2005 to join the international Atomic free-ride team and started traveling, competing and filming at that time. Since then Josh has been filming each year for Jeff Thomas with Theory 3 Media and Poorboyz Productions for their annual ski movie. Josh was invited to ski at one of Europe’s premier free-ski competitions: The Candide Thovex Invitational in France. He designed his own pro-model ski with (us!) Icelantic Skis that debuted in the 2011-2012 winter season. He won British Columbia’s largest slopestyle ski competition, the Lord of the Park, and the Showdown ski competition at Silver Star Resort in Vernon BC. His list of achievements goes on and on...
