Joe Turner

Joe Turner is a professional Telemark Athlete (since 1999) as well as International Horseman, based in the Gallatin Valley of Montana with his wife and 3 kids. Skiing has guided his life and he has been deeply embedded to the progression of the Telemark turn, style and gear as well as Big Mountain Freeskiing in general on many levels. Growing up in Yosemite, CA and honing his skills in places like Crested Butte, Tahoe, Jackson Hole and Big Sky has made him a major player through continuing to help progress the sport on levels like very few other telemark skiers have, including first descents in AK and Europe as well as a plethora of movie segments and publications. As a Senior Head Judge for the International Freeskiers & Snowboarders Association, Joe has continued to help pave the way for the youth and skiers of tomorrow to live out their dreams of living in the White Room.
